Edna is reborn through the discovery of her newfound sexuality, individuality, and artistic interests, thus creating a new independent self that society is incapable of handling—leading Edna to take her own life rather than submit herself to someone else’s desires.

150 copies of each cover sheet are on the bookshelf under the clock in the English Department. Take two copies of the cover sheet for the category you're entering.
Fiction--up to 3,000 words
Poetry--up to 50 lines
Essay--up to 3,000 words
Drama--5-15 minutes playing time
All entries must be typed, double-spaced on 8.5 x 11" paper.

Yes, but sorta vague.
2. Is my thesis statement specific enough?
Yes?
3. Does my thesis pass the “so what?” test?
Not exactly, I don't find too much motivation to care about Edna's sexuality.
4. Does my thesis pass the “how and why?” test?
More yes than the other two yes/no questions, but not entirely yes yet.
