Thesis for "On the Road" by Jack Kerouac

In "On the Road," Kerouac uses changing syntax and the moral downfall of Dean Moriarty to show that there was a negative side to the "beat" generation that he is credited with representing positively.

I like your idea, however you need to be more specific and expand your viewpoint more for your final draft.

I think this is a good thesis, and it answers all the questions, but make sure that you can get enough information on the syntax. Since thats one of the points your making in your thesis, it needs to be seen throughout your paper.

I like your thesis. It's clear on what your focus is going to be, but since I've never read the book, I wouldn't know if there's enough criticism on the syntax. Otherwise, just explain a little more, and it's good to go.
