Thesis

Through his use of a separate "chorus" narrarator, rather than narrarating through the character or an omnipotent viewer, detachment between the protagonist's feelings and social norms, and the emotional separation between Eddie & his wife (despite the closeness with his niece) Arthur Miller's "A View from the Bridge" draws from ancient & classic literature to form a modern trajedy about the separation and betrayal in the contemporary society in which he lived.

This thesis is good, but I think it could be too general because the idea entails such a wide range of evidence. If you narrow the thesis down to one thing such as just the chorus narrator, you would be able to focus on examples of that rather than providing evidence for what is probably one of the major, and widely discussed, themes of the book.

I personally think the thesis is a little too wordy, in other words, shorten it up a little. Like Robert said, focus on a major theme, and use that to answer the "so what" question.

I think your thesis is a little wordy, especially because you add the parentheses in. Try focusing on one topic and how that topic relates to the work as a whole.
